February 2023 – The RBAirF held a Dinner Night at the Officers' Mess, Berakas Garrison, to commemorate the service of the former Deputy Commander of the RBAirF, Colonel (R) Abdul Rahman bin Haji Durahman and to welcome the newly commissioned Officers of Intake 21. The Guest of Honour of the event was Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, the Commander of RBAirF. In attendance were the Acting Deputy Commander of RBAirF, RBAirF's Board of Executives, Senior Officers, Officers, and their spouses.
The event commenced with the Chief Steward reporting to the Guest of Honour, followed by a photo session with the RBAirF's Board of Executives and Senior Officers. The event then continued with the recitation of Doa Selamat, the mess dinner, and a speech delivered by the Commander of RBAirF.
In his speech, the Commander of RBAirF expressed his gratitude towards the 34 years of service and achievements of Colonel (R) Abdul Rahman bin Haji Durahman. He was the former Deputy Commander of the RBAirF and was later appointed Chief of Staff of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF). He has contributed to steering the operational flying and capability developments of the RBAirF. The Commander continued expressing his gratitude to the spouse of the outgoing officer, Megawati binti Dato Paduka Hj Manan, and her continuous support to the RBAirF Family. During his speech, the Commander took the opportunity to congratulate the newly wedded RBAirF Officers and welcomed their spouses. The Commander also welcomed the newly commissioned officers from Intake 21 to the RBAirF.
The event continued with the farewell speech by Colonel (U) Abdul Rahman and the presentation of mementos to the outgoing officer and his wife. The event was also enlivened with the musical setting by the RBAF band and concluded with the signing of the parchment by the Guest of Honour.
MAJLIS MAKAN MALAM BERADAT BAGI PEGAWAI-PEGAWAI TUDB

Februari 2023 – TUDB telah mengadakan Majlis Makan Malam Beradat di Mes Pegawai, Berakas Garison sempena persaraan bekas Timbalan Pemerintah TUDB, Kolonel (B) Abdul Rahman bin Haji Durahman mengalu-alukan Pegawai-pegawai baru Pengambilan Ke-21. Tetamu Kehormat Majlis ialah Brigedier Jeneral (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif bin Dato Paduka Haji Ibrahim, Pemerintah TUDB. Turut hadir ialah Pemangku Timbalan Pemerintah TUDB, Badan Eksekutif TUDB, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, Pegawai-pegawai serta pasangan mereka.
Majlis dimulakan dengan Chief Steward melapor kepada Tetamu Kehormat dan diteruskan dengan sesi bergambar ramai Pemerintah TUDB besama Pegawai-pegawai Kanan TUDB. Acara diikuti dengan bacaan Doa Selamat, makan malam dan ucapan daripada Pemerintah TUDB.
Dalam ucapan beliau, Pemerintah TUDB menyatakan penghargaan terhadap Kolonel (B) Abdul Rahman bin Haji Durahman, Mantan Timbalan Pemerintah TUDB dan Mantan Ketua Staf Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) disepanjang perkhidmatan beliau selama 34 tahun. Pemerintah TUDB mengimbas kembali sejarah perjalanan beliau yang mana beliau telah memberi penyumbangan dalam memberikan hala tuju bagi operasi dan keupayaan penerbangan TUDB. Pemerintah TUDB juga berkesempatan dalam menyatakan penghargaan terhadap isteri beliau iaitu, Megawati binti Dato Paduka Haji Manan atas sokongan berterusan beliau terhadap TUDB. Selain itu, Pemerintah TUDB juga berkesempatan untuk meraikan Pegawai-Pegawai TUDB yang baru berkahwin serta mengalu-alukan 19 Pegawai-pegawai yang baru tamat dari Pengambilan Ke-21.
Majlis diikuti dengan ucapan perpisahan daripada Kolonel (B) Abdul Rahman bin Haji Durahman dan diteruskan dengan penyampaian cenderahati daripada Pemerintah TUDB serta isteri beliau kepada Kolonel (B) Abdul Rahman dan isteri. Majlis diserikan lagi dengan iringan musik daripada Kumpulan Pancaragam dari ABDB dan diakhiri dengan Tetamu Kehormat menandatangani Lembaran Kenangan.
